Strider Glider Quarter Marathon Sunday October 19, 2025 9:00 AM Westwood Park • Lancaster, NY 14086 Presented by the Lancaster Striders USATF Sanctioned and Certified #NY23024JJ Join us for this unique 6.55 mile race distance. The Strider Glider Quarter Marathon starts and finishes at Westwood Park in Lancaster. This is a great opportunity to run a fast race on a scenic course this fall while supporting the Greater Lancaster Community. Please note: for the safety of all runners on the Heritage Trail, no dogs, roller blades, strollers or bikes will be allowed on the race course. Post-race awards and gathering will be held following the race. Race capped at 200 registrants. $30 pre-registered (online only) $35 race day if slots are available There will be no mail in registration this year. Calling all Lancaster Strider members! Come enjoy a fun, casual evening with your fellow running friends as we honor some of our hardworking members. $25 a person. This includes limited open bar and tailgate-style food. You can Venmo @jennpokigo (Venmo code will be in the discussion) OR pay at the door. If you RSVP, you are expected to pay! We do have a limited space so please honor this.

Teams should start gathering around 5pm - golfing 9 or 18 holes is cheaper before 6pm and it gets very busy! When you have your team set - get to the club and go out! We can gather afterwards for beverages. Our annual summer picnic takes the place of our monthly Strider meeting. We will meet at 6pm-Lancaster Place in Como Lake Park near the tennis/pickleball courts. We will have chicken & hot dogs. Bring a dish to pass, snacks, desserts, etc. Come join us!
Tickets are $13 each and an additional $9 for the hot dog package. Please let Melissa or Darell know that you are interested. If you reply 'Going' to the Facebook Event, you are required to pay day of. If you do not have Facebook, please let Melissa and/or Darell know so we can keep track of tickets. You will be required to pay for the ticket(s) day of.
Denise is once again hosting an awesome bike ride is so from her home - yeah (thank you)! Get there before 12:30pm or else you will miss our send off! Here is the ride itinerary - if you miss the start, you can meet up with us at one of these fine establishments (ride is approximately 14 miles)! Dockside Bar & Grill Lumber Jacks Patio Grill Shores Waterfront Prosper Brewing Then back to Denise's house for drinks and appetizers! Bring a dish and your favorite beverage! Due to unforseen circumstances, we have to make changes to this event. We will meet at Como Lake Park...the large parking lot on the main road. We will meet at 1pm and run/walk/bike around Como Park and then pop a tent at Pints in the Park. Bring snacks, chairs, we will have tables for snacks!
