Chilly Challenge 5K Run & Fun Walk

The Canisius High School of Buffalo will hold the 31st annual running of their “Chilly Challenge” 5K-road race & Fun Walk on February 28th 2010 at noon. The course will begin and end at the high school, which is located at 1180 Delaware Ave. at West Ferry and go throughout some of Buffalo’s scenic neighborhoods. The first 400 entrants will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt. Pre-registration is $20 – $15 for those 19 and younger. In addition to the 5k-race (3.1 mile) run a 1-mile fun walk and a 1.2-mile Grammar School Run for children in grades 3 – 8 – T-shirts are available for those events too! Entry fees are $10 for the walk and $8 for the Grammar School Run. There will be a party after the races/walk with chilly and other refreshments at the school.
